The government is preparing to review the decision to grant leave two days a year after complaints that it was unworkable.
The government has reached the stage of retreating due to the complexity in the implementation of the decision to give leave on Sundays in addition to Saturdays in the year without study and homework. This shows that the government is politically unstable.
Secretary at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Suresh Adhikari, said that the government has been saying that the decision will be considered as a trial for a month and a half and will be reviewed if any problem is found. Chief Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi convened a meeting of secretaries on Friday to review the effectiveness of the two-day leave decision.
